HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Good morning and happy Friday! Fair Skies are overhead to start the morning with more frost to scrape off your car or truck windshield.
Morning temperatures are chilly in the low to middle 20s. A mix of sun and clouds is expected for the morning hours before more clouds build in by the afternoon, high temps today will reach the lower 40s with increasing wind gusts from the northwest. A few snow flurries will develop through the afternoon and evening hours with no travel impacts expected. Due to the amount of snow flurries expected, a dusting of light fluffy snow may be possible on grassy areas by daybreak Saturday morning, again no impacts expected.
Saturday is now a 48 First Alert Weather Day for brutal cold wind chill values through the entire day and blustery northwest winds potentially gusting to 40 miles per hour. Saturday morning wind chills will likely be below zero and will only rise into the single digits by the afternoon.
