BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) -Alabama ranked seventh among all states for domestic migration gains between July 2024 and July 2025, according to new census data released this week.
The state had a net gain of more than 23,000 people who moved from other states during that period, the Census Bureau reported.
