Montgomery man pleads guilty to federal firearm charges in 2025 shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A Montgomery man has pleaded guilty to federal firearm and machinegun charges in connection with a deadly shooting that happened in early 2025, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Acting U.S. Attorney Kevin Davidson said Thursday that 25-year-old Ladarius Knight pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and to the unlawful possession of a machine gun.
