Billboard revealed Monday that Alabama’s Ella Langley has the No. 1 song in the nation, and that’s a huge deal no matter how you slice it.
Her hit “Choosin’ Texas,” which has been at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart for weeks, now also sits atop the Hot 100 chart dated Feb. 14. The full chart hasn’t been released yet, but Billboard spilled the beans Monday on Langley’s ascent, which had been a topic of great interest ever since she hit the Top 5 a few weeks back. It also bodes well for her forthcoming album, “Dandelion.”
