A 25-year-old man formerly lauded for escaping a life of inner-city violence has pleaded guilty to the shooting death of his former classmate at Alabama State University.
Ivry Hall on Tuesday pleaded guilty to murder in the 2020 slaying of 22-year-old Adam “Belle” Dowdell, a beloved graduate of Montevallo High School who was a sophomore at ASU when he was killed.
