Police chase bill named in honor of Hartselle teen faces uphill battle in Montgomery

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A bill named for a teen killed during a police chase, and aimed at changing how police chases would work, is facing an uphill battle in Montgomery.

Senate Bill 120, named the Tristan Hollis Memorial Act, aims to create a statewide standard for police departments to follow when it comes to police chases.
