MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man has been found guilty of attempted murder and illegally possessing a firearm for a 2022 incident, Montgomery County District Attorney Azzie Oliver confirmed Friday.
According to evidence presented at trial, Maricas Taylor got into a verbal fight with the cashier at the Petro Mart convenience store on Fairview Avenue.
Taylor left but returned 30 minutes later wearing a mask, Oliver’s office said.
Surveillance video showed Taylor pull a pistol, then fire several shots at the cashier. Taylor fled the scene. The victim was not injured…
