MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WHNT) — Gov. Kay Ivey will join state leaders, veterans, and community members in Montgomery to celebrate the grand opening of the Alabama Veterans Resource Center, a new facility aimed at supporting Alabama’s veterans and their families.
During the ceremony, officials will highlight the center’s mission to serve as a one-stop hub for critical services, including job training, benefits assistance, mental health resources, and help transitioning into civilian life. The initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen support systems for Alabama’s veteran community.
During the 2025 Regular Session, Governor Ivey, the Alabama Legislature, and business leaders joined forces to establish the Alabama Veterans Resource Center.
