Mobile, Alabama – Secure outdoor furniture and prepare for a sharp overnight freeze as wind chills drop to 15 degrees inland by 3 a.m. Monday, following a day of 40 mph wind gusts across southwest Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle.
According to the National Weather Service in Mobile, a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. CST Sunday for much of south central and southwest Alabama and northwest Florida. Northwest winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph will continue to snap small branches and create hazardous driving conditions, especially on elevated roadways and bridges.
