Part of I-65 in Alabama shut down following vehicle crash

ALABAMA — A two-vehicle crash has shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 65 in Conecuh County Thursday morning, according to law enforcement officials.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. near the 83-mile marker. As a result of the collision, both southbound lanes are closed for an undetermined amount of time.

Motorists traveling through the area are advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible…
