SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – An Alabama man accused of raping a juvenile girl in Caddo Parish more than a decade ago pleaded guilty in Caddo District Court on Wednesday.
Tarance LaMichael English, 42, now of Deatsville, Ala., entered his guilty plea after the victim finished testifying before the jury. The victim was assaulted between the ages of 7 and 12 from 2010 to 2015.
English was sentenced to 20 years in prison with hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. He must also register as a sex offender for life. A 50-year protective order has been issued in favor of the victim…
