Suspect in 2022 Montgomery murder back in jail on new charges

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man connected to a 2022 Montgomery homicide, is back in jail on new charges, according to court filings.

Cortez Marquette McDade Jr. is now being held on gun and drug charges.

According to the court documents, McDade was out on bond pending a pre-trial hearing that was set for April 9 related to the murder case when he was arrested again Feb. 21.
