A Georgia man was found dead Wednesday after going missing while boating in south Alabama.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, troopers with the Marine Patrol Division were notified of the man, identified as Travis White, going missing at about 11 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Dauphin Island in Portersville Bay.
“The 22-ft May Craft vessel he was operating was located north of the Dauphin Island Bridge in a marshy area in Heron Bay on Tuesday, March 3,” ALEA said. “Marine Patrol Troopers along with the United States Coast Guard and Officers with the Marine Resources Division of the Alabama Department of Conversation and Natural Resources immediately launched a search and rescue mission.”…
