Six people arrested following drug bust in Alabama

ALABAMA — Six people have been arrested following a drug bust in the town of Camp Hill in Tallapoosa County, according to the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the arrests were made after the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force, the Alexander City Special Response Group and an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) SWAT team executed three search warrants in Camp Hill.

During the operation, investigators said they seized approximately 115 grams of cocaine or crack cocaine, about one pound of marijuana, one gram of synthetic marijuana and 10 prescription pills. Authorities also recovered $1,137 in cash, seven pistols, one rifle, a pickup truck, an SUV, digital scales and other items believed to be used in drug distribution…
