After nearly five years of waiting, the Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission Chairman Rex Vaughn exclusively sat down with News 19’s Peyton Newman and said the rollout of medical marijuana products is expected to start in late April or early May.
The process has faced lawsuit after lawsuit, delaying any progress and extending the finish line.
“It’s frustrating for us commission members, it’s frustrating for patients who were looking to purchase that cannabis product,” Vaughn said. “And we’re all waiting, the legal system takes a long time to operate.”…
