There’s a chance some in Alabama will face freezing temperatures next week.
That’s according to the National Weather Service, which is eyeing a big cooldown in its long-range forecasts.
NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center is also seeing the signs of a cold snap. The six- to 10-day temperature outlook (shown at the top of this post) is forecasting a 33-40 percent probability of below-average temperatures for all but south Alabama from March 15-19 (next Sunday through Thursday)…
