Birmingham, Alabama – Residents across parts of Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle are under a Tornado Watch overnight as strong storms move across the Southeast, raising the risk of tornadoes and damaging winds through the early morning hours.
According to the Storm Prediction Center and National Weather Service offices across the region, Tornado Watch 49 remains in effect until 7 a.m. CDT for much of central and southern Alabama and parts of the Florida Panhandle.
