TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WRBL) — The trial for a man facing three capital murder charges in Montgomery County reached its third day of testimony Wednesday.
On day eight of the trial of Ibraheem Yazeed for allegedly killing 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard in 2019, jurors heard from a key witness.
Antwon “Squirmy” Fisher testified he had seen Yazeed drag a body into the wooded area near a Macon County church during the early morning hours of Oct. 24, 2019. In late November that same year, Fisher led local law enforcement to the area off County Road 2. There, what were later confirmed to be Blanchard’s scattered remains were found. A bullet hole was in her skull.
According to Fisher, he was on a cocktail of marijuana, Percocet and Xanax when he was riding passenger in a truck belonging to David “Big Dave” Johnson, Jr., his father-in-law at the time. Fisher and Johnson’s step-daughter have since divorced…
