Alabama Man Sentenced to 24 Years in Federal Child Exploitation Case

Two men, including one from Alabama, have been sentenced to a combined 64 years in federal prison for their roles in a conspiracy involving the distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Jacob Parker, 49, of Auburn, Alabama, was previously sentenced on Jan. 15 to more than 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to advertise child sexual abuse material.

Prosecutors said Parker played a significant role as a high-level moderator of an online platform dedicated to sharing and discussing such material. Court records indicate he helped manage the site and distributed illegal content to other users…
