The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for its help to identify a female whose body was found in Mulberry Creek on March 17.
At around 3:15 p.m. on March 17, workers for Norfolk Southern Railroad discovered a female body in Mulberry Creek near the Autauga-Dallas County line. Investigators believe the body could have traveled down the creek from Chilton or Dallas Counties as the creek runs through the three counties.
The cause of death or the race of the female is unidentifiable at this time. The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the case as a death investigation, pending an autopsy and getting the identification of the female…
