The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office has released more information on a body found Tuesday in a creek.
An autopsy has concluded that the remains found in Mulberry Creek in Autauga County on March 17 near County Road 83 are that of a Black woman about 5-feet-3-inches tall, 45 to 55 years of age, weighing 130 pounds with short black hair and no tattoos. The only noticeable scaring is from a cesarean section, said Sheriff Mark Harrell.
Usable fingerprints cannot be lifted from the body at this time, Harrell said. DNA has been taken and sent for testing, he said. The woman was wearing a multi-colored top, black jacket and dark-colored pants…
