MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man is now facing charges nearly six months after a Montgomery woman was shot in the head during a fight, according to court documents.
Derdarius Devonte Belser was arrested Tuesday on charges of first-degree domestic violence and firing a gun into an occupied vehicle.
The shooting happened Oct. 13 just before 5:30 p.m. in the 5900 block of Oakleigh Road at Christy Lane. Officers arrived to find a woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the back of her head.
