Aniah Blanchard’s mother speaks for the first time since gag order was lifted

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Ibraheem Yazeed was convicted last week for the killing of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard, and Blanchard’s family says they are now ready to speak publicly about what they heard in court, and what they still want from the judge at sentencing.

“I just can’t believe that the verdict was what it was,” Blanchard’s mother, Angela Harris, said after the trial.
