First Alert: A dry and breezy weekend

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – From Montgomery out across Central and South Alabama, we’re in a quiet stretch of weather—but that feeling will change day by day as we move from a cooler, breezy setup into a warmer, more humid one. No major storms are showing up right now, just a gradual shift.

Tonight: a cool, comfortable night for late March standards. Skies won’t be clear everywhere, but overall it’s a calm, quiet night. Things will be a little chilly from where things were the last few nights.

Sunday: This is the “in-between” day. You’ll notice more clouds moving in, and some places may wake up to a thicker, gray sky—especially east and southeast of Montgomery. Even if it’s dry, the extra cloud cover can make the day feel cooler than you’d expect, simply because we won’t get as much sunshine working for us. If you’re hoping for a bright, warm Sunday afternoon, it may take time for the sky to cooperate in some locations…
