MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WRBL) — The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will modify the traffic signal at the intersection of US-431 and SR-165 in Phenix City starting on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Crews will be removing the current flashing yellow arrow and replace it with a protected “only” signal. Once in operation, drivers will only be allowed to turn left when a steady green arrow is displayed.
ALDOT officials say the change is being made to “enhance safety at the intersection.”…
