MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A Montgomery recreation center that serves people with disabilities is welcoming members back after a roughly $5 million renovation, and longtime visitors say the upgrades are already improving their day-to-day experience.
City leaders say the Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation Center (TRC) has served the community since the 1970s. Mayor Steven Reed said renovating the facility was a priority because of the people it serves.
