A severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 3:31 p.m. in effect until 4:15 p.m. for Dale, Henry and Houston counties.
The storms may bring quarter-sized hail (1 inch) and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
“At 3:31 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Midland City, or near Dothan, moving north at 20 mph,” states the weather service. “Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.”…
