MONTGOMERY – Tensions have risen in the Alabama House after state Rep. Arnold Mooney was removed from a closed-door caucus meeting on Wednesday, April 1 in Montgomery.
The removal came after Mooney was allegedly caught using his phone to record the closed-door meeting, one which was centered around the future of legislation related to the Alabama Public Service Commission.
The recording of private caucus meetings without consent is strictly against the rules in the Alabama Legislature. As a result, Mooney was reportedly removed from the room by House Majority Leader Paul Lee of Dothan…
