ALABAMA (WAFF) – Alabama will become the first state in the country to use a shark alert system when it launches Monday.
The system is similar to an amber alert and will notify the public whenever there is a shark attack at an Alabama beach.
Leaders say the alerts will only be used for confirmed attacks, not sightings or rumors…
