MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Hemp retailers across Alabama are returning to normal operations after a months-long licensing process required by the state.
Ocean Jones, owner of Healthy Harvest, said his business was shut down for four months while awaiting state approval after House Bill 445 shifted oversight of hemp products to the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and required full licensure to operate.
