Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has signed a new package of legislation aimed at strengthening support for Alabama’s military members, Veterans and their families, building on the State’s long-standing push to be one of the most military-friendly in the nation.
The bills, passed during the 2026 legislative session, focus on expanding education access, improving workforce training and opening new career pathways for those who have served.
