MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The suspect in a two-vehicle crash that killed a 40-year-old man in 2024 has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for reckless murder, according to documents from the Montgomery County Circuit Court.
Jacqueline Stinger pleaded guilty to the incident, which involved 40-year-old DeLorenzo Ringstaff and an unidentified driver who Stinger hit head-on near the West Fairview Avenue area on August 1 of that year.
Authorities said while the driver of the other vehicle involved was uninjured, Ringstaff was struck and taken to an area hospital where he died just a few days later.
