New 638,000-square-foot Portland campus expands U.S. manufacturing capacity for solar, battery storage and data center infrastructure
PORTLAND, TN (May 26, 2026) — Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. has opened its new 638,000-square-foot Mega Facility in Portland, Tennessee, marking a major expansion of the company’s domestic manufacturing footprint and strengthening its ability to support the nation’s growing energy infrastructure needs.
Backed by a $30 million investment, with a total commitment of up to $80 million over five years, the new campus expands Shoals’ manufacturing capacity for electrical infrastructure solutions used in utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems and mission-critical facilities, including data centers.
