MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — This summer, part of Interstate 840 will be renamed in honor of a Wilson County student who died after a crash in 2024.
In October 2024, Kyler Gatica and his parents, Matthew and Stephanie, were traveling home from a beach vacation when a driver rear-ended their vehicle on I-840 East in Rutherford County. Kyler was killed in the crash, and his family was injured.
