Tennessee resident wins $500,000 on Ohio lottery ticket

OHIO — A Tennessee woman is $500,000 richer after an unexpected stop for gas in Ohio led to a life-changing Ohio Lottery scratch-off win.

According to the Ohio Lottery, the Nashville woman was traveling to a family reunion when she stopped for gas at the S&G #100 convenience store, located at 10730 Fremont Pike in Perrysburg. While paying for her fuel, she decided to purchase a $10 Bingo Times 50 Scratch-Off ticket.

The woman said she was playing the ticket and had reached the ninth game when she noticed she had matched the four corners. Moments later, the bonus number, G53, completed the required “X” pattern, making her the game’s $500,000 top prize winner…
