NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — While Nashville leaders continue debating whether to fund city-owned license plate readers, some police departments in Middle Tennessee are pointing to privately owned cameras already helping solve crimes.
Murfreesboro police say private license plate readers in Davidson County recently helped investigators identify tag numbers connected to stolen vehicles used in crimes in Rutherford County.
