NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — Tennessee homeowners have experienced the largest property tax increases in the nation over the last six years, according to a new report from the Beacon Center of Tennessee.
The nonprofit policy organization says Tennessee recorded the highest percentage increase in property taxes of any state in the country during that period, surpassing the next closest state by a double-digit margin.
