Baskin-Robbins – the world’s largest chain of specialty ice cream shops – hosted a grand opening of its new Murfreesboro Baskin-Robbins shop at 1741 S. Rutherford Blvd., Suite Q on Saturday, Aug. 15.
For Baskin-Robbins franchisees Nirav Patel, Ankit Patel and Binjan Patel, opening a new shop in Murfreesboro is about more than serving ice cream. Drawn to the city’s welcoming, family-centered atmosphere, southern hospitality and continued growth, the Patels saw an opportunity to create a neighborhood gathering place where families can celebrate birthdays, sports victories and life’s everyday moments together.
“Growing up, visiting Baskin-Robbins was always the ultimate reward and the backdrop for some of our favorite family memories,” said the Patels in a statement. “The iconic 31 flavors and the pink spoon represent joy for so many families, and we wanted the opportunity to pass that same happiness on to a new generation here in Murfreesboro.
