RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) rescued a person who was injured after they jumped into J. Percy Priest Lake Sunday.
TWRA officers were called to the bridge over the lake on Weakley Lane in Smyrna just before 8 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found the person injured and floating in the water. The TWRA helped first responders get to the water so the victim could be taken by boat to Fate Sanders Recreation Area, where medics were waiting, according to the TWRA.
