More than 150 people greeted Wawa to its first Rutherford County location on Sept. 9, 13 months after its groundbreaking.
The coffee, food and fuel store at 5208 Veterans Parkway in the Westlawn area of Murfreesboro is the company’s fourth in Tennessee and the first of at least three planned for Rutherford County. Wawa Director Of Store Operations Joseph Collins said that a Wawa will be located in Smyrna and another one in Murfreesboro to open this year.
