An investigation into suspicious activity in the parking lot of Ross Dress for Less led Mt. Juliet officers to arrest a wanted Ohio man early Monday, Sept. 14, who was also found in unlawful possession of a firearm. More Crime News
During the investigation, officers determined a vehicle in the lot was occupied by a 22-year-old Ohio man wanted out of Rutherford County since December 2023 for a felony violation of probation related to burglary and theft. As officers took him into custody, they found a handgun in his waistband. Further investigation revealed the man is a convicted felon in Ohio for felony aggravated possession of drugs, making his possession of the firearm unlawful.
