TDOT sued over $9.2B ‘Choice Lanes’ records

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A shortlisted bidder is suing the Tennessee Department of Transportation to force the release of closely guarded documents surrounding the 50-year contract for a $9.2 billion Interstate 24 toll lanes project.

The lawsuit, filed Monday by 24 Choice Lanes Partners, accuses the state of wrongfully blocking public review of the final agreement with DriveTN.
