(UPDATE 5:50PM Sat. 2/3/24) One of the two recumbent bike riders passed away in the ER at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. The other bicyclist is in stable condition. The Murfreeesboro Police Department Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) reports that a driver ran into a group of recumbent cyclists as they waited for a traffic light to change at 11:49AM Saturday morning on Medical Center Parkway.
