Recent reporting from Murfreesboro.com reveals the latest location of locally-based Five Daughters Bakery will open at the upcoming development, The Fountains at Gateway, with an address of 1500 Medical Center Parkway, Suite H .
An opening timeline for the new spot is forthcoming as the location is still under construction, though it’s likely it may open in the coming months. Five Daughters currently operates six locations in greater Nashville and two locations in Atlanta. The bakery is popular for its unique 100-layer croissant-donut fusion pastries called “cronuts” and also offers a variety of different baked goods all made in-house.
The gourmet baked goods brand is recognizable for its millennial-pink logo and its enticing flavors, including vanilla cream, maple bacon, and chocolate sea salt. Five Daughters most recently opened locations in The Gulch and inside Fifth and Broadway’s Assembly Food Hall in 2023.
Five Daughters was founded in 2015 out of Isaac and Stephanie Meek’s home in Franklin, Tennessee. The husband-and-wife team named the company after their own five daughters, Dylan, Lucy, Maggie, Evangeline, and Constance. The couple started the bakery inspired by their previous foodie lifestyle living in Manhattan, as well as as a way to escape the corporate life and bring the family closer together, according to The Tennessean.
