Tennessee man arrested in Kentucky after high-speed multi-county chase

PADUCAH, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Troopers arrested a Tennessee man on Wednesday after a multi-county chase on I-24 in Kentucky.

Around 6:30 p.m. CT, a Kentucky State Police trooper saw a white Dodge Durango driving over 100 miles per hour near mile 42. After failing to stop when prompted to, KSP said the trooper successfully used the tire deflation device and the vehicle eventually stopped around mile marker 17.

KSP noted that the driver was refusing to follow orders and was acting erratically. Because of this, troopers requested an armed vehicle be brought to the scene to help make sure the incident was safely resolved.

With the help of the armored vehicle, troopers said they were able to safely arrest the driver, 29-year-old Evin Rion.
