LEBANON − Rapper Flavor Flav and Diplo are at the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix Sunday at Nashville Superspeedway.
Flavor Flav was accompanied by Team USA track and field Olympian Veronica Fraley from Vanderbilt. Diplo, a DJ and music producer, served as the race’s grand marshal.
Flavor Flav and Diplo greeted drivers along with Big Machine Music City Grand Prix CEO Scott Borchetta and other officials on stage during the introductions.
One celebrity who was expected to be at the race but did not show up is David Letterman.
Letterman co-owns an Indycar Team with former IndyCar driver Bobby Rahal and businessman Mike Lanigan. Drivers from the Rahal Letterman Lannigan Racing Team in the race include Rahal’s son Graham Rahal, Pietro Fittipaldi and Christian Lundgaard.
