Pilgrimage Festival announces delayed start to Saturday events

Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival organizers announced Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. that they will delay the start of the festival until 2 p.m. Parking areas will open at 1.

On the heels of significant rainfall from Hurricane Helene, The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, which backs up to the Harpeth River in Franklin, could be subject to flooding.

The statement read, “We experienced a great deal of rain yesterday and we are doing everything we can to prepare the site for the festival. We are pushing doors to 2 p.m. today. Please stay tuned to our app and socials for updates as we have them. We appreciate your continued support.”

There was no immediate word on how this would affect the music lineup, but we will update this story as more information becomes available.
