Out-of-state warrants leads to Tennessee man’s arrest during traffic stop

PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Out-of-state warrants led to a Tennessee man being arrested during a traffic stop early Monday morning.

According to the Priceville Police Department, officers working a criminal interdiction pulled a vehicle over along I-65 SB for minor traffic violations around 1:50 a.m.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle had felony aggravated assault warrants for his arrest through the Maury County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee.

PPD said that Frederick Willis Brown, 53, of Columbia, Tennessee was arrested and taken to the Morgan County Jail where he was booked as a fugitive from justice.

Brown is being held without bond awaiting extradition back to Tennessee.
