In a peculiar turn of events at a Walmart in Mt. Juliet, a man’s attempt to lift a donut unfolded into an arrest for possession of a significant amount of narcotics. The suspect, a 44-year-old Nashville man, now faces charges after his petty theft inadvertently exposed a larger criminal operation. According to WSMV, when the Mt. Juliet Police Department responded to the report of the aforementioned theft, they discovered the man in possession of suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine.
