“It’s a book about gender identity”: Preacher removed from meeting for discussing school board’s approval of book

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – A school board meeting in Murfreesboro was forced into a brief recess after a man brought up a topic that was not on the board’s agenda. On Tuesday, December 10, the Murfreesboro City School Board granted John Amanchukwu time to speak during the meeting. He brought a book entitled It Feels Good To Be Yourself to the podium and wanted to know why Murfreesboro City Schools permitted the book for four to eight-year-old students at Bradley Academy.
